Jewelry Care

All jewelry is delicate, always REMOVE before sleeping to avoid accidental breakage. AVOID exposing your jewelry to chemical based sunscreens as they contain harsh ingredients that are known to damage metals. We recommend using mineral based sun protection - safe for your jewelry and the reef! 

Gold Dipped Sterling Silver Care

Over time, tarnishing will naturally occur due to the nature of sterling silver. Light tarnishing can be removed by gently buffing with a soft cloth. Limit buffing to maintain integrity of the gold plating.

For longevity, AVOID contact with personal care products (e.g., perfume, hairspray, lotions, makeup, etc.) and sunscreens. ALWAYS remove your gold dipped jewelry before using household cleaners, showering, swimming and exercising. Body oil and sweat can cause tarnishing and cause wear to gold plating. CLEAN by gently wiping with a soft cloth after each wear. Never use jewelry cleaner. STORE in an airtight bag in a dry place. 

Gold Filled Care

Our 14K gold filled chains are waterproof and can be enjoyed for everyday wear. CLEAN by gently wiping with a soft cloth after each wear. When visibly dirty or exposed to products/chlorine, thoroughly clean with slightly sudsy water using a very small amount of mild soap. Rinse clean to remove soap residue and dry with a soft cloth. Never use jewelry cleaner. 

925 Sterling Silver Care

Sterling silver is a solid metal that requires minimal care. SAFE for showering, bathing and exercising. It may develop a beautiful patina (i.e., darkening in colour) with age, but silver can easily be polished back to its original brilliance with a soft cloth. Never use jewelry cleaner. STORE in an airtight bag in a dry place.

Stainless Steel Care

If you choose to wear in treated swimming pools and spas, be mindful to thoroughly clean after exposure by rinsing with fresh water. REMOVE when using household cleaners. SAFE for showering, bathing and exercising. CLEAN with slightly sudsy water using a very small amount of mild soap. Lightly scrub with an ultra soft toothbrush. Rinse clean to remove soap residue and dry with a soft cloth. Never use jewelry cleaner. STORE in a dry place.

Gold Dipped Sterling Silver 

Our gold dipped collection features a fine solid 18K gold layer applied on top of a 925 Sterling Silver base. Gold plating lasts according to how it is cared for. While gold plated jewelry is not waterproof and should not be exposed to personal care products, our gold dipped pieces feature a unique protective coating to increase their resistance to wear. 

Gold Filled

14K gold filled is a solid layer of gold that is bonded together through heat and pressure to other metal alloys. This process makes it similar to solid gold in terms of durability, colour and strength. It won't turn colours or rub off and is waterproof making it perfect for endless wear. Legally, gold filled is required to contain a minimum of  5% or 1/20th gold by weight. Our gold filled chain is USA made. 

Stainless Steel

Our stainless steel pieces are crafted with an innovative, durable coating that allows it to maintain its beautiful gold finish when exposed to varying elements, such as water and sweat. Stainless Steel is a highly durable metal that does not rust or tarnish. Our Waterproof Collection feature 316L Stainless Steel plated with a thick 18K gold layer using an environmentally-friendly vacuum coating process called Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD). PVD makes the gold plating highly durable and is sweat and water resistant. Our Waterproof Collection is ideal for those wanting care-free jewelry that can keep up with their life adventures!
